Description

This shade-grown coffee is produced in Worka, Gedeb in the Gedeo Zone in central Ethiopia. The natural process method used for this coffee is the oldest method of coffee production; it is well-known for featuring pleasant fruity cup profiles that can be seen throughout Ethiopia.

This coffee consists entirely of the Ethiopian heirloom varietal; it is harvested at around 1,900 meters during the winter, and then sun-dried on raised drying tables. The Worka co-op is very proud of this natural processed Yirgacheffe that exhibits wonderfully complex berry and citrus characteristics.
