Description
This coffee is grown between 1100-1500 masl, Varietals include Bourbon and Typica grown alongside shade trees such as Erythrina, Albizia, tangerine and orange. Bali has traditional farming organizations called Subak Abians, similar to a farm cooperative. There are thirteen different Subak Abians that are currently growing and processing coffee. The “SA” oversee both agricultural technology and cultural activities. The use of pesticides is prohibited on Bali, promoting improved coffee growing practices that is expected to enhance agricultural technology and economic standing.
Bali Blue Moon boasts a smooth, rich body with overwhelming dark chocolate flavors. It is harvested from May until July, dried on mats up to forty percent and then partially wet-hulled.
