Description
This incredibly aromatic grade-1 coffee comes to us from the central region of Oromia specifically from the Adola Washing Station, owned by producer, Israel Degafa. The fresh cherries are delivered the day they are harvested, and are first hand-sorted for ripeness and quality before being rinsed clean of dirt. Then, the good cherry is taken and spread onto raised beds to dry under the sun light for 21 days. After the coffee is dried with the cherry still attached, it is then milled to remove the husks.
This Ethiopian Heirloom lot is grown and harvested at the high elevation of 2300 masl, just between the months of October & December.
