Description
Finca Las Delicias is owned and managed by Mario Mejia Martinez. Mario’s farm is 17.5 hectares in size, with 16 hectares of 70,000 planted coffee trees amongst some orange and banana trees. It’s located in La Paz, a part of Honduras known for its high elevation and cool temperatures. These factors cause coffees to ripen slowly, developing sugars that are then processed in these comfortable climates. After harvest and sorting the coffee, it was dry-fermented for three days before drying naturally for two weeks on nylon mesh beds, ensuring consistent moisture loss and high cup quality.
This winter-grown coffee is entirely made up of the Caturra varietal and harvested at roughly 1600 masl.
